Remember Mt Palomar
Hard to say where to start – but start anywhere.
The dome is 135 feet (41 meters) tall and 137 feet (42 meters) in diameter. It is a remarkable coincidence that these dimensions are similar to those of the Pantheon in Rome.
The telescope moves to look at different parts of the sky. A 1 HP motor moves the telescope north/south and a 3 HP motor moves it east/west. Tracking to keep up with Earth’s rotation is accomplished by a 1/12 HP motor.

A. ??
Q. What is the English translation of Palomar (hint: not what I thought)?
